RARE VINTAGE ORIGINAL THEATRICAL SOUND AFFECTS GUN SHOT SLAP STICK

Description

You are bidding on a rare very nice example of a early theatrical sound affect for a gunshot. It was used backstage and would be slapped when a gunshot was needed. It would be considered percussion as it would pop a 32 rimfire blank. It is not marked as to maker.
It measures about 24”.
It has a couple of pieces of wood missing (not affecting the operation) and some tape around the padded part. Please study pics closely, they form part of the description. Happy to answer questions before you bid. Please read all of the conditions of sale under the pictures.
