Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the what may be the first re-release of Richard Thorpe's prison drama / musical,
Jailhouse Rock
. The movie marked Elvis Presley's first starring role in a major Hollywood feature. This poster is in excellent unfolded condition which leads me to believe that it
may
not be from the first release of the film in Belgium in 1957, but perhaps from a later release of the film in the Sixties or Seventies. The artwork and printer's markings are exactly the same as the original release Belgian poster. Because of my uncertainty of this poster's date I am asking a very reasonable price for such an excellent copy of this seldom available poster. I purchased it from a dealer who claimed that it was an original 1st release poster.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium, 14.75" x 22"
DESCRIPTION:
Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition.  A few pinholes in the surrounding white borders along with minimal crinkling. A small tear in the left border at fold. Overall slight yellowing of paper. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past  21 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
