  • Condition: Good to Very Good Condition. Top white border has been partially trimmed and remnants of a theater snipe with exhibition information remains. Bottom portion of poster that once contained the word RELIEF has been completely trimmed. A few bumps and slight yellowing in side borders. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat for 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    Here is a fantastic original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Jack Arnold's science fiction classic,
    It Came From Outer Space
    . The movie starred Richard Carlson and Barbara Rush in an adaptation of an original story by Ray Bradbury
    .
    Notable for being the first film produced by Universal in the new 3-D process, many theaters, especially in Europe, were unequipped to exhibit the movie in Third Dimension and showed it flat. This particular poster is from such a theater where 3D equipment was unavailable. As a result, the RELIEF designation that was printed at the bottom of the poster was cut off. Despite this alteration, this poster is in very good condition with the artwork entirely intact. The artwork by Bos is unique to the Belgian release. This poster would make a great addition to anyone's Sci-Fi movie poster collection.
