Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for over 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    . This remake of the Lon Chaney silent classic starred Charles Laughton, Maureen O'Hara and a cast of hundreds in RKO's most extravagant and expensive production to date. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards in what is widely considered Hollywood's greatest year, 1939. This poster is from an early 1950's re-release of the film in Belgium and carries the title
    Quasimodo
    . This is the first re-release and it features the RKO logo. There was a later rerelease in the early Sixties that featured a poster with different artwork and was not distributed by RKO.
