    Description

RARE Original Release Belgian Movie Poster -
    Destination Moon
    (1950)
    ,
John Archer, Warner Anderson, Tom Powers, Dick Wesson, Irving Pichel, George Pal, Technicolor, Space Travel, Rocketship
Here is a striking original Belgian movie poster from the first release of the George Pal produced outer space adventure,
    Destination Moon.
This film is notable for being the first major U.S. science fiction film to deal with the practical scientific and engineering challenges of space travel. It was the granddaddy of all the great Fifties space movies to follow. This poster is from the 1st release of the movie in Belgium in 1951 judging by the dated tax stamp. Despite a few condition issues with this theater used poster, it displays well and very rarely comes up for sale or auction. It is a "must have" for any Sci-Fi / Outer Space themed movie poster collector.
